  • A strong joint that is known for its strength and durability

  • These joints uses pins and tails that interlocks together

  • Usually used for drawers and boxes and other custom furniture pieces

 

Book Matched

  • The practice of matching two or more pieces of wood so the adjoining surfaces mirror each other

  • Usually found with live-Edge slabs

  • Gives the appearance of an open book

Figured Wood

  • When a piece of wood contains a unique pattern or distinctive marks on its surface

  • The figure in a piece is partly due to how it’s cut, and other disruptions in normal tree growth

  • Can add a lot of character to a project
